Help Police ID Suspect Who Shot Man In Leg Before Stealing His Wallet

EAST FLATBUSH – The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the below photo in connection to a robbery that took place over the weekend.

At approximately 3pm on Saturday, November 11, the suspect entered the S Collision Shop located at 4305 Avenue H between E 43rd Street and Troy Avenue and shut the gate behind him, a police representative says. The suspect then shot a 37-year-old man in the right thigh before grabbing his wallet and fleeing the scene in an older model gold Nissan.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was treated and released.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, in his 30s, approximately 6′ 0″ and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, light pants, and black Nike Air Jordan sneakers.
