Help Police Find Missing 84-Year-Old Brooklyn Heights Woman

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 84-year-old Brooklyn Heights resident, Almeater Harrison, who was reported missing yesterday.

Harrison was last seen on the corner of Court and Joralemon Streets on Thursday, June 1, at approximately 5pm, police say.

She is described as a black woman, 5’6″ tall, 160 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, dark jeans, and blue sneakers. Harrison uses a walker to get around.

Anyone with information in regards to this missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
