Hark, There’s Hope! Warmer Temperatures Headed Our Way
Who besides us is ready for a day that’s above freezing? Ready for a string of days? Ready for two days in a row in the balmy 40s?
We’d given up hope checking the weather too much recently, but things are looking up around Ditmas Park as The Weather Channel says we’re about to have six whole days that clock in above 32°F!
The good weather/vibes will start on Friday, with a high of 38°F, then 43°F on Saturday, 42°F on Sunday, 33°F on Monday, 37°F on Tuesday, and 35°F on Wednesday before dropping back down to the mid-twenties on Thursday, February 6.
It won’t be sunny all the time and Wednesday might even feature some snow, but hey, we’re not picky! In fact for those of us asking only that the thermometer hit 30°F, tomorrow’s already looking great.
What are you planning to do this weekend, now that it won’t be quite so miserable leaving the house? Frolic in Prospect Park? Go for a quiet stroll on the boardwalk? Enjoy The High Line? Simply shop for veggies at the Greenmarket without turning into an icicle?
