Guns, Swords And Drugs Found In Dahill Road Home, Four Arrested

New York Police Department officers arrested four people after discovering a cache of guns, blades and drugs in a home at 175 Dahill Road yesterday morning.

Officers were following up on information about possible weapons at the location and executed a search warrant at 7:00 a.m.

Inside, they found weapons including a 9 mm Hi-Point rifle, .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun, eight swords, a machete and more than 250 rounds of ammunition.
Officers also found eight codeine tablets and a small amount of marijuana.

The four residents, ranging in age from 32 to 42, were arrested. They face charges for weapons and drug possessions.

The New York Post reports:

“It was enough to arm a small army or militia,” a police source said of the bust. “These guys were ready for war.”
Assorted knives and air pistols were also recovered, according to police.
