Joe Perry, guitarist for the Hall of Fame rock band Aerosmith, collapsed from a heart attack while playing a show Sunday night at the Coney Island Amphitheater, the New York Post reports.

Perry was performing with his side project the Hollywood Vampires — which also counts Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp among its members — when he stumbled behind a speaker and lost consciousness, according to the Post.

Video posted to Instagram shows the 65-year-old Perry playing a few chords while sitting on a drum kit when he suddenly gets up and slumps offstage.

The Post reports Perry was revived backstage and carried out of the venue on a stretcher. The band was only two songs into the show when the legendary guitarist went down.

Perry was rushed to Coney Island Hospital where he underwent health tests. He was later taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, according to ABC 7.

A tweet from Joe Perry’s Twitter account later said he is in stable condition.
