Justice has been served for Kenny Chen’s killer, who fatally stabbed the Bath Beach teen on June 9, 2013.

Peter Sedeno, 21, was convicted Tuesday, May 19, of all counts, including manslaughter and gang assault, following a jury trial, say prosecutors.

During the trial it was revealed that Chen had been trying to prevent a fight between his friend, then 17-year-old Danny Wei, and four teens — including Sedeno — who were attacking him with racial slurs just a few hours before Chen was knifed on Benson Avenue and 26th Avenue, several blocks from his home.

Karlin Chan, a Chinatown activist — who got involved in the case because Chen’s parents were distraught over the slow pace of the investigation and initial news reports that their son was found with marijuana on him — was at the court hearing and said he was pleased with the outcome. He praised the way the 62nd Precinct’s Detective Kevin Frein handled the case.

“Frein’s detailed patient investigation brought about the videotaped statement and subsequent successful prosecution of Sedeno,” said Chan.

Three other men were arrested in connection to the murder. On July 11, 2014, Dayshawn Young pleaded guilty to second-degree gang assault and was sentenced to five years imprisonment, according to the DA. Daquan Jackson is awaiting trial for gang assault and other counts, and Daine Daley’s case has been sealed, said authorities.

Sedeno will be sentenced on Monday, June 22.

Correction: A previous version of this article stated that Sedeno will be sentenced on July 8. His sentencing date is June 22.
