A grandmother and her grandchild in a stroller were taken to the hospital yesterday after being struck by a car in Dyker Heights.

The pair were hit near 67th Street and 11th Avenue by a turning vehicle at around 10:30am, according the FDNY. The child sustained a head wound and both were taken to Lutheran Hospital, where they are expected to recover, reports News 12.

“Cops and the ambulance were here. They had the baby in the ambulance,” witness Saher Erian, 44, told DNA Info, describing the grandmother as “shocked about what happened to the kid.”

No charges have been filed against the driver, who remained on the scene, according to reports.
