A popular Brighton Beach gourmet market is expanding to Sheepshead Bay, with a European artisan bakery opening soon on Gravesend Neck Road at East 17th Street.

Gourmanoff Bakery, opening at 1601 Gravesend Neck Road, already has a tantalizing Facebook page featuring classy photos of macarons, lemon tart, guava cake, Sacher raspberry pastry, and more.

Though opening date hasn’t been scheduled yet, the bakery’s manager hinted that it could be as soon as a couple of weeks (get your taste buds ready).

Gourmanoff chose this location because it’s adjacent to their wholesale bakery, said manager Tatiana Zagornaia. We will keep you updated as we learn more details.

The original — and opulent — Gourmanoff gourmet food store opened on Brighton Beach Avenue in 2014, taking up the ground floor of the former Millenium Theater.

It was billed as “[The] Lexus to NetCost’s Toyota,” said executive chef Zack Hess at the invite-only opening party (Gourmanoff is from the folks behind NetCost Market).

Take a photo tour of the market’s fancy opening, and spread of gourmet and imported goods here.

We look forward to welcoming Gourmanoff’s expansion — and of course, stopping by for many treats.
