GIRLS To Film In Kensington This Thursday
HBO’s GIRLS will be filming in Kensington on Thursday, May 1, according to signs we spotted this morning. The show has made waves by filming in Ditmas Park lately–especially since the area is supposedly being used as a stand-in for Iowa, where Lena Dunham’s character is supposed to be attending graduate school this season.
Affected blocks in our area include Ocean Parkway between Ditmas and Cortelyou Roads, the north side of Ditmas Avenue between Ocean Parkway and E 7th Street, and Coney Island Avenue from Caton Avenue to Hinckley Place.
