G-Free Weeknights For FasTrack Work
FasTrack service is hitting the G train at night this week, which means it’s not running between Bedford/Nostrand and Church Avenue, so you’ll have to deal with shuttle buses and/or the F instead. Details on that and more from the MTA:
No G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Church Av
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, May 12-16
G service operates between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs. Shuttle buses make all G stops between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn, connecting with the F at Jay St-MetroTech. F trains make all G stops between Bergen St and Church Av.
• Transfer between G trains and shuttle buses at Bedford-Nostrand Avs.
• Transfer between A, C, F trains and shuttle buses at Jay St-MetroTech.
No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, until May 23
For 53, 45, and 36 Sts, take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the F line.
