Friend’s Pizza Closed Through May 5
If you were planning on ordering a little Friday night pizza, heads up that Friend’s (487 7th Avenue, between Windsor Place and Prospect Avenue) is closed through May 5.
According to a handwritten sign posted on the gate, similar to one we spotted back in December, they’ll be baking pies again on May 6.
If Friend’s is your go-to, maybe this is a good couple weeks to try someplace new. We recently met the chef behind Pauline and Sharon’s Pizza on 4th Avenue, where he’s offering up some unusual pies alongside the traditional ones. You guys have any other favorite pizzerias in the area?
