Free Outdoor Space-Themed Movies At Albee Square

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN – The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and Alamo Drafthouse will kick off the summer season by hosting the Outer Space Outdoors movie series Thursday evenings in June at Albee Square.

Families are invited to enjoy “out of this world evenings” featuring music and space-themed films. Pre-show DJ sets will open each evening at 7pm, followed by the movie screening at 8pm.

The Outer Space Outdoors lineup:

June 7 – Close Encounters of the Third Kind
June 14 – Men in Black
June 21 – Space Jam
June 28 – Gravity

The Outer Space Outdoors movie program is part of a series of summer events presented by the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership. Other events scheduled throughout the summer include fitness/yoga/dance classes, performances, live music, rooftop films, ping pong happy hours, block parties, and more.
