Four Men Wanted For Multiple Brooklyn Robberies, NYPD Says

Police are hunting for four men wanted in a series of robberies in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and Downtown Brooklyn, the NYPD said.

The suspects described by police as men in their early 20s first mugged a 23-year-old man near Classon Avenue and Clifton Place at 9:43 p.m. on Aug. 16, cops said. The men threatened to assault the victim, while one of them took items from his pant pockets, officials said.

Police released surveillance footage of the suspects captured nearby the scene of that robbery. The same group of men struck again on Aug. 22, as they robbed four more people in four hours, police said.

That day, the crooks approached another 23-year-old man near Willoughby and Myrtle avenues at 1:15 a.m., cops said. One of the suspects had a gun, while the other men attacked the victim police said. The men managed to remove his backpack and cellphone before running away from the scene, police sources said.

Less than 30 minutes later, the crooks pushed a 43-year-old man to the ground before removing his belongings at Lafayette and Grand avenues, according to police.

At 4:45 a.m., the suspects ganged up on a 37-year-old woman before taking her cell phone and purse at Water and Pearl streets, police said.

Finally, at 5:50 a.m., the suspects attacked a 25-year-old man near Concord and Bridge streets before taking away his backpack, police said.
