Former Due Fratelli Space On 5th Avenue For Rent
The storefront at 412 5th Avenue (between 7th and 8th Streets), which was most recently Due Fratelli pizzeria, has a for rent sign up. It’s listed by Brooklyn Properties, and if you’re interested, give Anna Anderson a call at 718-490-1969.
As for Due Fratelli, anyone hear why they closed, or where they may have gone to? Neighbor Annie mentioned they were gone in the comments of a 2013 open/closed roundup, saying it was her “go-to Italian in the neighborhood,” and folks at neighboring businesses on the block told us they weren’t sure what happened, but that the spot had been closed for a month or more now.
Of course, pizza isn’t in short supply around here, with Peppino’s, Joe’s, and Brooklyn Central alone just within a few blocks. Anyone who used to rely on Due Fratelli find another place you like yet? Anyone else have a favorite?
