Footage Released Of Suspect In Cab Robbery Pattern

Cops have released footage of a man wanted for robbing two livery car drivers and a food cart owner at gunpoint near 86th Street earlier this month.

The suspect held up both cabbies on July 12, taking $100 from the first one on 86th Street near Bay 23rd Street at 2:45am, and snatching a wallet containing $500 and personal papers, at 4:15am, on 61st Street and 21st Avenue, police say.

Cops think the same suspect is responsible for robbing the owner of a halal cart on 86th Street and 20th Avenue on Sunday, July 17, at 3:45am.

The additional surveillance photos and video the second cab ride incident have been obtained. The footage shows the unidentified male just before he approached the cab driver. He is holding a wicker tray, which contained the firearm, according to the NYPD.
