Food Trucks Are Back At Prospect Park This Weekend
Along with Opening Day festivities, there’s another reason to stop by Prospect Park this weekend–the food trucks are back! Try cuisine from far and wide (parts of NYC) at the rally’s Grand Army Plaza outpost, or at their nearer Parade Ground parking spot.
Park representative Corinne Martin tells us that this year’s Parade Ground vendors will includeToum, the Mud Truck, and Hibachi Heaven, and visitors will be able to choose from two trucks each day. Grand Army Plaza visitors can also expect goodies from Andy’s Italian Ices NYC, the Brooklyn Organic Coffee & Tea Truck, Carl’s Steaks, Comme Ci Comme Ça, Coolhaus, DUB Pies,Gorilla Cheese NYC, Kimchi Taco, Nuchas, Palenque, Phil’s Steaks, Red Hook Lobster Pound,Taim Mobile, Shorty’s on Wheels, Big D’s Grub, Green Pirate, Katz & Dogz Pastrami, Kelvin Natural Slush Co., Mamu Thai Noodle, Mausam Cuisine, Mexico Blvd, Milk Truck, Yume Teriyaki Grill, and Hibachi Heaven and Toum as well.
The schedule for Parade Ground trucks is 8am-5pm on:
- Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6
- Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27
- Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4
- Saturdays May 10, May 17, and May 31
- Saturdays June 7 and June 14
Trucks will be at Grand Army Plaza from 11am-5pm on the following Sundays:
- April 6 and 27
- May 4 and 18
- June 1 and 15
- July 13 and 20
- August 3 and 17
- September 7 and 21
- October 5 and 19
