If you haven’t noticed yet, it is raining. Pretty hard.

The U.S. National Weather Service has put out a coastal flood statement that will be in effect from 12pm until 4pm today. They said the tidal departures today are reaching about a foot in depth.

According to Sheepshead resident Liliya Bomme, parts of Ocean Parkway are already flooding. It was rather tedious for her to get to work today.

By the looks of the traffic cameras, the Belt Parkway is looking clear for now, as well as Stillwell Avenue.

According to the Weather Channel, it will be raining heavily in Bensonhurst until around 3pm. So be sure to bring an umbrella when you leave the house and wear puddle-proof boots.
