Fire on Rugby Road Near Church Ave This Morning
A fire erupted this morning at 80 Rugby Road, near Church Avenue. Neighbor Cate Poe, who sent in these photos, tells us a man working at a nearby grocery store noticed it, called 911 and alerted the residents inside the home.
The FDNY tells us that the call came in at about 6:30am, and it became a two-alarm fire at 6:49am. At the height of the fire, 25 units and 106 firefighters responded to the scene. It was under control at 7:47am.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
