The fire started on the roof of El Pollo III (8603 18th Avenue) at 11:54am, and it took 12 truck units and 65 firefighters to battle the flames, according to the FDNY.

The blaze was under control by 12:46pm. There were two minor injuries to firefighters, who were taken to area hospitals, say officials.
