Fire At 2023 Caton Avenue Injures One
A fire broke out at 2023 Caton Avenue (between E 21st Street and Ocean Avenue) early this afternoon, says the FDNY. A call came in for the blaze at 12:05pm, which reportedly started on the five story apartment building’s first floor, and has just been brought under control.
Neighbor Anni Irish sent in photos of the scene, and said she’d seen a few people receiving medical attention and that streets are currently blocked off near Flatbush and Caton Avenues. The FDNY could only confirm one injury.
