Cops are hunting a brazen quinquagenarian woman who threatened to shoot a bank teller at the 1901 86th Street branch of Chase bank during a failed heist Saturday, and are turning to the public for their assistance.

A woman who appeared to be between 50 and 60 years old walked into the bank at approximately 10:44 a.m. on August 16. After a wait in line, she approached the teller and demanded money. The woman then passed a note that read, “Fill envelope with 100’s or I will shoot. You have 60 seconds.”

The teller called her bluff and refused to give the woman any money, and the suspect fled the bank.

Cops say the woman was black, approximately 5’9″ tall and 160 lbs. She was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt, dark pants and a blue Yankees baseball cap.
