FasTrack Works Hits The 2/3/4 & More Weekday Subway Advisories
The 2, 3, and 4 trains are getting the FasTrack treatment this week, which starts each night at 10pm. But that’s not all — the D and N are bypassing some local stops, the G is going slow, and the F has a bit of a hiccup. Details on those changes and more from the MTA:
No 2 or 4 trains at Bergen St, Grand Army Plaza, and Eastern Pkwy
3 train service ends early in Brooklyn
Late nights, 10pm-5am, Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27
2 and 4 trains run express in both directions between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av. Free shuttle buses make all stops between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av. Transfer between trains and buses at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av. Note, 4 service is extended to New Lots Av during this time. See more details here.
Coney Island-bound D trains skip Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av and 25 St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27
For service to these stations, take the D to 36 St and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N. For service from these stations, take the D or N to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.
F service operates in two sections
Late nights, 12:01am to 5am, Tuesday to Friday, June 25 – July 11 (except July 4)
Service operates between: 1. 179 St and Jay St-MetroTech, and via the A to/from Hoyt-Schermerhorn; and 2. Stillwell Av and Bergen St, and via the G to/from Bedford-Nostrand Avs. Transfer at Hoyt-Schermerhorn to continue your trip.
G trains run every 20 minutes
Late evenings, beginning 11pm, Monday through Thursday until July 17 (except July 3)
Allow additional travel time.
Coney Island-bound N trains skip Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av, and 25 St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27
For service to these stations, take the N to 36 St and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N. For service from these stations, take the D or N to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N. For service to 45 and 53 Sts, take the N to 59 St and transfer to an Astoria-bound N. For service fromthese stations, take the N to 36 St and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.
No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, June 23-27
R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the 2, 3, 4, 5, D, F, Q, and R lines.
