FasTrack Work Hits The B & D, Plus Other Weekday Changes To Local Subway Lines
If you rely on the B or D to get home a little later in the evening, take note of this week’s FasTrack work, which shuts down the B early, and puts a little crimp in the D. That and more to watch out for on local lines this week from the MTA:
B service ends early
Late evenings, Monday to Thursday, May 19-22
The last 145 St-bound B train leaves Brighton Beach at 9:04pm. The last Brighton Beach-bound B train leaves 145 St at 9:45pm.
No D trains between 59 St-Columbus Circle and 161 St-Yankee Stadium
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, May 19-23
D service operates in two sections: 1. Between Stillwell Av and 59 St-Columbus Circle; 2. Between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and 205 St.
Manhattan-bound D trains run local from 36 St, Brooklyn to DeKalb Av
Late evenings, beginning 8:30pm, Monday to Thursday, May 19-22
Allow additional travel time.
G trains run every 20 minutes
Late evenings, beginning 11pm, Monday to Thursday, May 19-22
Allow additional travel time.
Astoria-bound N trains run local from 59 St, Brooklyn to DeKalb Av
Late evenings, beginning 8:30pm, Monday to Thursday, May 19-22
Allow additional travel time.
No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, until May 23
For 53, 45, and 36 Sts, take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn

No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the 2, 3, 4, B, F, and Q lines.
