F Train Futzing & More Subway Service Changes
Below you’ll find early week subway service changes for the D, N, R, F, and G lines in Brooklyn. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.
Starting Wednesday:
F trains run every 20 minutes between Avenue X and Stillwell Av; Jamaica-bound trains skip Avenue U
Days, 10:30am-3pm, Wednesday, December 10 to Friday, December 12
Service operates in two sections:
1. Between 179 St and Avenue X
2. Between Avenue X and Stillwell Av
Transfer at Avenue X to continue your trip.
For service to Avenue U, take the F to Kings Hwy and transfer to an Avenue X-bound F. For service from this station, take the F to Avenue X where it will become a Jamaica-bound F. More info here.
Coney Island-bound D trains run via the N from 36 St to Stillwell Av
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, December 10 to Friday, December 12
No Coney Island-bound service at 9 Av, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 50, 55, 71, 79 Sts, 18, 20 Avs, Bay Pkwy, 25 Av and Bay 50 St.
For service to 9 Av, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 50 and 55 Sts, take the D to New Utrecht Av-62 St and transfer to a Norwood-bound D. For service to 71, 79 Sts, 18, 20 Avs, Bay Pkwy, 25 Av and Bay 50 St, take the D to Stillwell Av and transfer to a Norwood-bound D.
For service from these stations, take the D to 62 St-New Utrecht Av or 36 St and transfer to a Coney Island-bound or N.
