Extra Trash & Recycling Pickups Scheduled For Passover

If you’re worried about properly getting your Chometz, other trash, and recycling out ahead of Passover this year, rest assured that Community Board 14 has you covered.

District Manager Shawn Campbell sent out a letter specifying local blocks with regular Monday/Thursday pickup will receive additional pickup this Friday, April 11, and blocks with regular Tuesday/Friday or Wednesday/Saturday pickup will receive additional pickup this coming Monday, April 14.

There will also be additional recycling collection on Monday, April 14 from midnight to 8am, so all recyclable materials should be placed at the curb the evening of Sunday, April 13.

All Chometz and other refuse should be placed on the curb no later than 11am on Monday, April 14 to ensure proper pickup. Using plastic bags for these collections is strongly suggested. For a map showing the extra Passover pickup schedule, click here.
