“Show Up” — Cynthia King Dance Studio’s Spring Concert
When: Sunday (4/17), 3 and 6pm
Where: Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, One University Plaza at Long Island University in downtown Brooklyn. 718.488.1624
What: Cynthia King Dance Studio Presents “SHOW UP” — this year’s installment of its annual spring production series. It’s a fast-paced dance production featuring new, original choreography performed by dancers of all ages. Her studio’s annual productions, held at Long Island University’s Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, light up springtime evenings with dance pieces ranging from the hilarious to the poignant.

“Ensemble of Ancient Music” Concert
When: Friday (4/15), 8pm
Where: Our Lady of Refuge Church, 2020 Foster Avenue
What: Ensemble of Ancient Music — Pierius. There will be 22 singers and a cellist performing Allegri, Scarlatti, and Carissimi.
How Much: Free

Yoga with Wee Ones
When: Saturday (4/16) at 2 and 3:15pm
Where: Third Root Community Health Center
What: Third Root’s Wee Ones classes foster a warm and welcoming community for all caregivers and children ages 0-4, helping little ones and grown-ups connect with their bodies, each other, and the physical world. Students engage in imaginative play, singing and music, and developmentally-appropriate yoga and pranayama (breathwork) practice. Caregivers also have the opportunity to make connections with each other that can carry over outside the classroom. From mommies to daddies, aunties, nannies, and grannies, any caregivers of all ages are welcome. Session one is for babies from 12 weeks to crawling and is from 2-2:45. Session two is for tots who are walking up to the age of 4, and is from 3:15 to 4:00 pm. All classes are taught by Laura Grant.

Evening Fun at the 773 Lounge
When: Friday (4/15) and Saturday (4/16)
Where: 773 Lounge at 773 Coney Island Avenue
What: Party with DJ Chet Friday at 10pm; and Karaoke Night on Saturday at 11pm
