Calling all chefs! It’s time to test your cooking chops when you leave out the gluten. The first ever Gluten-Free Takedown is coming up on Sunday, August 24 from 2-4pm at The Bell House (149 7th Street), and they’re looking for a few good home cooks to participate.
Anyone who enters a gluten-free dish will be in the running for some cool prizes, plus you and a guest can attend for free. You’ll have to make 250 bites of anything that is completely gluten-free, which can be anything from ice cream to pizza. They’ll provide tasting cups, a sterno set-up, paper plates, spoons, and whatever equipment you need. Want in? Email [email protected] to compete.
