Element Beauty Lounge To Open On Cortelyou In August

Element Beauty Lounge Cortelyou Road grand opening
Park Slope’s Element Beauty Lounge will be expanding into Ditmas Park and is slated to celebrate its grand opening in August, according to a sign posted at its new site at 1016 Cortelyou Road (between Stratford Road and Coney Island Avenue). No word yet on the exact date of the opening, but we’ll keep you posted!

The beauty lounge is moving into the Simple Mobile storefront, and a number of our readers have told us how excited they are for its arrival. Element has landed rave reviews on Yelp for its skilled technicians and selection of nail colors, a relaxing environment for both the ladies and the fellas, drying stations with iPads, and refreshments for customers.

The new spot will be joining its relatively new neighbors Bar ChordThe Highbury Pub, and Lea on its side of the street, as well as Hartwell Vegetarian and Brooklyn ARTery across the way.

While we’ve already heard from a number of you about looking forward to Element’s impending arrival, we’d love to hear from more of you about what you think of the lounge’s grand opening. And many thanks to neighbors Lisa and Rusty for sending in photos! As always, we love when our neighbors send us photos and info about neighborhood happenings to editor@ditmasparkcorner.com.

  1. Ooh my wife is going to be very excited about this. I see them doing well here. Curious what people think is missing and would do best here. Personally I’d love to see a nice ice cream shop open up.

  2. This is MUCH NEEDED in the neighborhood. I think they’re going to be very busy, if they’re good 🙂

  3. Woohoo! I currently trek to the one on Coney Island Ave and Ave J. It’s always clean and the technicians are so nice and always do a good job. This one is much closer to me and presumably will be open on Saturdays. It will be nice to have a nail place in the neighborhood that doesn’t leave me feeling grosser than I did when I went in.

  4. SO happy I won’t have to trek to Park Slope to find parking for Dashing Diva. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood in my book!
