Eat the Award Winning Bourbon-Brown Sugar Apple Pie from Joe Sevier

When neighbor Joe Sevier won last weekend’s annual apple pie bake-off at the Cortelyou Greenmarket, there was one question on the mind and stomach of several neighbors: Joe, are you taking orders?

Lucky for us, the answer is yes.

Joe is offering a limited number of pies, including the award winning pie featuring local apples: the Bourbon-Brown Sugar Apple Pie with Pecan Crust.

He’s also offering a Salted Caramel Banana Pudding (but that of course, couldn’t be local) and a Pumpkin Mousse Pie with Molasses Cookie Crust, both of which sound really, ridiculously good to eat.

Joe is charging $25 and requires at least four days’ notice. You can email zestingthepith@gmail.com to buy a pie. If you do get one, let us know how it tastes, and take a picture of it while you’re at it.
