Earth Day Extravagreenza A Success!
Greenwood Playground was a hive of activity yesterday during the Friends of Greenwood Playground Earth Day Extravagreenza.
Solarize Brooklyn handed out information on installing solar panels. On a nearby table a master composter and Prospect Farm volunteer demonstrated how worms plow through 7 pounds of waste per week.
Barking Cat Studio, Kensington’s newest art studio, helped little Picassos create masterpieces with marbles and paint. (Artwork pictured above.)
