Drink Beers, Support Bunnies
If you were looking for a good reason to drink beer this weekend, The Monro Pub (481 5th Avenue) has got it with its first fundraiser for bunnies!
The Beer for Bunnies event is happening this Saturday, January 24 from 6-9pm, with all proceeds going to help the all-volunteer, nonprofit Rabbit Rescue and Rehab, the New York City chapter of House Rabbit Society, which rescues abandoned rabbits and finds them homes for them, among other things.
Bring some money, an open heart, and empty belly! They’ll have discounted drinks, vegan goodies for sale, and raffles.
If you can’t make it but still want to help, you can drop off a check at the bar made out to Rabbit Rescue and Rehab, or make a donation online.
