Don’t Forget: Borough President Eric Adams & FDC To Host A Town Hall On Crime At PS 139 Tonight At 7:30

Reminder: Elected officials, including Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, officers from the 70th Precinct, and community leaders will be at PS 139 (330 Rugby Road) tonight for a town hall about crime in our neighborhood. All are welcome to attend and speak directly to the politicians, police and others there about concerns regarding crime in the area, particularly the series of armed robberies at local businesses.

The meeting, which is being sponsored by Adams and the Flatbush Development Corporation, will begin at 7:30pm – though a large crowd is expected, so you may want to get there early to grab a seat in the school’s auditorium.

FDC Executive Director Robin Redmond and Church Avenue BID Executive Director Lauren Elvers Collins will moderate the town hall. Others expected to be in attendance include Councilman Mathieu Eugene, Councilman Jumaane Williams, Assemblywoman Rhoda Jacobs, Assemblyman Jim Brennan, and state Sen. Kevin Parker.
