Donate A Backpack At The Brooklyn Public Library
It’s almost time for school to start again and there are many children throughout Brooklyn who don’t have a home to go to, let alone a bag to hold their books.
The Coalition for the Homeless is teaming up with the Brooklyn Public Library for Project: Back to School, which collects backpacks and school supplies for homeless children in New York City.
If you would like to donate a backpack or other school supplies, you can drop off donations at the Central Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, the Windsor Terrace Library, 160 East 5th Street, or the Sunset Park Library, 5108 4th Avenue, from now until September 8.
