Donate Toys At Slope Suds & Other Locations For Kids In Need This Christmas

This Saturday, December 13, a number of local organizations are teaming up to ensure that children in need in Brooklyn have a special Christmas.

Trinity Grace Church, Park Slope Christian Tabernacle, NY CityServe & CityFest, and Young Life have organized a Family Christmas Toy Giveaway for Saturday at the Tabernacle, where hundreds of families in need from around Gowanus, Red Hook, Downtown Brooklyn, and Park Slope will have the chance to pick up a gift to help make this holiday bright.

And that’s where you come in. They’re looking for donations, and are hoping that neighbors can drop off a new, unwrapped toys (around $15-$25) for kids up to age 12 through Friday at the following locations:

Slope Suds Salon and Spa, 462 7th Avenue: Thursday 12-8pm, Friday 10am-7pm
Die Kollner Bierhalle, 84 St. Marks Place: Thursday 3pm-2am, Friday 3pm-4am
LuLu’s Cuts & Toys, 48 5th Avenue: Thursday-Friday 10am-6:30pm, discounts available on toys purchased there!
Park Slope Christian Tabernacle, 98 5th Avenue: Fridays 8am-9pm, or Saturday 8am-10am
