Donate Books & More To Park Slope United Methodist’s 2014 Sale

Whether you’ve got books to donate or you’re looking for new ones to read, save the date for the 21st annual Park Slope United Methodist book sale, which will be held four days this year, February 20-23, at the church at 410 6th Avenue.

If you’ve got some books, CDs, DVDs, or vinyl records piling up in your apartment, you can drop them off on the following days (no VHS or cassettes, magazines, outdated textbooks or computer manuals, or any book that is damaged or falling apart). Donations are tax-deductible.

Donation drop-off dates:
Saturday, February 15, 12-4pm
Sunday, February 16, 3-6pm
Monday, February 17, 10am-5pm
Tuesday, February 18, 6-9pm
Thursday February 20, 12-7pm
Friday, February 21, 12-7pm

If you’re in the neighborhood, you can arrange a car pickup by calling Rick at 347-538-7604. All items must be boxed or bagged and ready to go.

They’re also looking for volunteers to help out on the day of the sale — sign up online here, or in person on Sundays at the church.
