Reflections of a Domestic Violence Prosecutor: Suggestions for Reform

Ditmas Park neighbor Michelle Kaminsky will be speaking about her new book Reflections of a Domestic Violence Prosecutor: Suggestions for Reform at this month’s Sisterhood Brunch at Temple Beth Emeth, on Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. Michelle’s book is based on her 15 years of experience investigating and trying criminal cases involving domestic violence.

“She will provide an inside look,” wrote temple Executive Vice President Jeff Levinson, “at the often unglamorous work of an Assistant District Attorney trying to help abused women: uncooperative witnesses, reluctant police officers, and challenging obstacles within the legal system.”

The talk costs $5 for members and $10 for non-members, which includes a buffet brunch prior to the presentation. Copies of the book will be available for sale. RSVP’s are encouraged(but not required): Call 718-282-1596 or email at templebeth83@aol.com.
