D/N/R/F Line Subway Service Advisories 5/13 – 5/17
A whole lot of skipped stops on all four area lines this week, making your commute all that much more fun. At least there’s no point during which the train isn’t running at all, right? That’s something. Silver linings…
D LINE
From 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, 205 St-bound D trains run express from 36 St to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr. They will also stop at 135 St.
N LINE
During the days, from 10:15 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, Coney Island-bound N trains skip 30 Av, Broadway, 36 Av, and 39 Av.
At night, from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, Ditmars Blvd-bound N trains run express from 36 St to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.
R LINE
A lot of night time action on the R line. From 10 p.m. to midnight tonight, 95 St-bound R trains run express from 71 Av to Queens Plaza. After Monday, from Tuesday to Thursday, the R runs express during that stretch in the opposite direction, from Queens Plaza to 71 Av.
And then, all week long, from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., there are no R trains between 59 St and 36 St, Brooklyn. Take the N instead. However, R trains do run between Bay Ridge-95 St and 59 St.
F LINE
The F skips a whole bunch o’ stops this week.
From 10 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Coney Island-bound F trains skip Sutphin Blvd, Van Wyck Blvd, and 75 Av.
From 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday to Friday, 179 St-bound F trains run express from W 4 St to 34 St-Herald Sq.
From 9:45 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday to Friday, 179 St-bound F trains skip 75 Av, Van Wyck Blvd, and Sutphin Blvd.
Finally, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday to Friday, Coney Island-bound F trains run local from 71 Av to 21 St-Queensbridge.
