Dining Deals Spotlight: $2 Taco Tuesday At Camelia
We stopped by the newly introduced Camelia (formerly Piramide) this week to try out their $2 Taco Tuesday special, which runs every Tuesday from 12pm to 7pm. In addition to a lovely presentation, the beef, chicken and pork tacos were quite tasty. The only catch is that you must eat the tacos at the bar. Toss in a $5 margarita (also on special Tuesdays from 12pm to 7pm), though, and you’ll be on your way to a quality afternoon siesta.
Other weekday special at Camelia include: Mojito Wednesdays ($5 mojitos and $2 empanadas) and Ladies Night Thursdays ($4 white or red wines and $5 shrimp ceviche).
Camelia Cocina Mexicana (718-499-0002) is located at 499 5th Avenue (between 12th and 13th Street). Hours are Monday-Thursday, 12pm to 11pm, Friday 12pm to 12am, Saturday, 10:30am to 12am, and Sunday 10:30am to 11pm.
