Di Fara Is Opening A New Dessert Shop Around The Corner From Pizzeria

Dom DeMarco, the owner and sole pizza maker at Di Fara Pizza, is opening a new dessert shop around the corner from the pizzeria at 1012 East 15th Street.

“Some of the sweets, like custom-filled cannoli, will be made in-house; other items will be from Italian bakeries in Brooklyn,” according to the New York Times.

The opening of the dessert shop, called Di Fara Dolce Fatts, coincides with the 50th anniversary of the opening of the restaurant and reportedly will provide a waiting area for the pizzeria.

The new shop shares an address with MD Kitchen, the Di Fara offshoot that opened a few years ago serving sandwiches and pasta.
