Credit Card Skimmers Sought By Police In Central Brookyln
CENTRAL BROOKLYN –
Police are looking for four individuals wanted in questioning regarding two separate incidents involving credit card skimmers in Kensington and Borough Park this month.On Friday, August 18, the three men attempted to place a credit card skimmer on pump #3 of the gas station at the corner of 418 Coney Island Avenue, at the corner of Coney and Caton, said police.
The men approached the gas station in a black Jeep at approximately 1:40am, attempted to install the skimmer, then fled in the Jeep southbound on Coney Island Ave, said police.

Earlier in August, another incident occurred, with an individual placing a skimmer on an ATM at Berkshire Bank in Borough Park.
On August 1, at approximately 7:30 pm, a man entered the bank at 4917 16th Avenue and placed a credit card skimmer on an ATM in the lobby before fleeing eastbound on 51st Street, towards 17th Ave, said police.
