Cops Seek ID On Alleged Groper At Jay Street-Metrotech Station
The man seen here allegedly grabbed and groped a woman’s butt on an escalator at the Jay Street-Metrotech station in the middle of the evening rush hour, said police, who are hoping someone can help ID him.
It was around 5:30pm on Wednesday, March 9 when the suspect approached a 20-year-old woman as she exited the station on an escalator. From behind, he touched her butt and leaned into her over her clothing, said police. He then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as as a dark-skinned male, last seen wearing a dark-colored vest over a red sweater, blue jeans, sunglasses, a do-rag, and a chain around his neck. He may also have been traveling with a male friend, who was carrying a cane.
