Cops Search For Suspects Who Pistol Whipped And Robbed Driver

Police are searching for two suspects who were involved in a gunpoint robbery blocks away from Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene.

On Thursday, October 20 at approximately 8:30pm two individuals approached a 55-year-old man who was seated in his vehicle in front of 31 North Oxford Street (between Flushing Avenue and the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway).

According to police, the suspects displayed a gun and demanded money.

One of the suspects struck the victim with the gun, causing a laceration to his face. The two men then fled from the scene with $400 and credit cards they took from the victim.

Police say the first male suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the sleeve and blue jeans.

The second male suspect was last seen wearing a gray and blue hooded sweatshirt with light colored pants and shoes.
