Cops Investigating Death Of Infant Found Unconscious At Sheepshead Shelter
A 2-month-old girl died after being found unconscious at a Sheepshead Bay shelter on Thursday, said cops, and investigators are probing the details of her death.
The infant’s frightened mother called 911 at 7:30am on July 6, cops said, with an unconscious child inside the Bay Family Center on Emmons Avenue near Coyle Street, the Daily News first reports.
The baby was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital.
Cops found no signs of trauma on the infant’s body, but an investigation into the death is ongoing, cops said.
