Cops Arrest Three For Stash Of Guns, Drugs, Cash & Vehicles In 88th Precinct

Police in the 88th Precinct have arrested three men they say were hiding firearms, heroin, and more in a car and a storage unit in Fort Greene. Edwin Rodriguez of Bushwick as well as Noel Tavarez and Pablo Soto of Williamsburg were taken into custody following the raid.

Following up on an investigation of an individual riding an ATV on a sidewalk, cops say they obtained and executed two search warrants last night–one for a storage unit at Lockaway Self Storage (1 Carlton Avenue at Flushing Avenue), and one for a 2007 Nissan Altima, which had a trap containing 500 glassines of heroin and $8,000.

From the storage unit, cops report that they also recovered 14 dirt bikes and ATVs as well as a .32 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver containing six rounds of ammunition, a.25 caliber semi-automatic Tanfoglio Giuseppe containing five rounds, a .38 caliber Intratec containing two rounds, and a 9mm Hi-Point semi-automatic containing a magazine with eight rounds.

Rodriguez, 22, Tavarez, 26, and Soto, 21, have each been charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance and four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
