Shots Fired In Dyker Heights, Suspect Arrested

Cops have arrested a suspect they believe was shooting his revolver out of a car window in Dyker Heights.

A 911 caller told authorities that a man wearing a blue top and black pants fired a handgun from inside a black suburban on Friday, April 8, at 10pm in front of 1202 66th Street, according to the NYPD.

Upon arrival, 68th Precinct plainclothes officers Dwayne Hodge and Mikeljan Agolli saw a male standing on the street who fit the description. The man was stopped and a witness identified him as the shooter. A Rossi USA .357 revolver was subsequently recovered, along with two live rounds and six spent shell casings, from the his suburban.

Fernando Montesino, 32, a Dyker resident, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
