Contemporary Artwork Walking Tour Of The Brighton Line

The MTA Arts for Transit’s Amy Hausmann will lead participants on a walking tour along the Brighton Line, October 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the focus being on the latest contemporary artwork to be permanently installed in the stations.

Among the works featured will be projects by Mary Temple, Jason Middlebrook, Rita McDonald and others (artists may be present). The tour will conclude with a visit to the rehabilitated Ocean Parkway Viaduct, featuring terra cotta reliefs by artist Deborah Masters.

Additional details will be provided upon registration. Don’t forget to bring your Metrocard. The cost of the tour is $10 (MAS members) and $15 (non-members).
