Community Board 7 Looking For Friday Shopper Elves

If you have some free time on December 20, a car (or reindeer powered sleigh), and some Christmas spirit, Community Board 7 is looking for you.

The group is asking for volunteers to go shopping for toys that will be donated to area kiddos. CB7 told us via email that volunteers will meet at the community board offices, 4201 4th Avenue (entrance on 43rd Street), on Friday at 10am. From there, they’ll drive to a store called Five Below (2530 Hylan Boulevard) in Staten Island. Shopping will take about 2 to 2.5 hours, and then everything will be brought back to the CB7 offices.
