Community Board 14 June Meetings
Want to get a first-hand look at what’s going on in the neighborhood? Attend a Community Board 14 meeting. Here’s what’s coming up this month, which will be the last month of meetings before CB14 retires for the summer:
Public Hearings
Thursday, June 6, 7pm
CB14 District Office, 810 E 16th St.
The hearings will include a review of Special Permit applications for buildings outside our area and a Uniform Land Use Review Procedure for Brooklyn College, but probably the most applicable thing for Ditmas Parkers will be the Church Avenue BID‘s request for funding at 7:15pm.
Regular Monthly Meeting
Monday, June 10, 7:30pm
Edward Murrow High School, 1600 Ave. L
Recommendations will be made regarding the Public Hearings above, and reports will be made from topical and special committees.
Youth Services Committee
Monday, June 17, 7pm
CB14 District Office, 810 E 16th St
There will be a review of the 2013 Youth Conference, as well as a discussion on the Youth Services Section of Community District Needs Statement.
CB14 Awards Ceremony & Reception
Wednesday, June 19, 6-9pm
CB14 District Office, 810 E 16th St
New Community Board members will be recognized and public servants and leaders will be celebrated. Refreshments will be served.
The next CB14 meeting will be at 7:30pm on Tuesday, September 10, at Edward Murrow High School.
