Want to get a first-hand look at what’s going on in the neighborhood? Attend a Community Board 14 meeting. Here’s what’s coming up this month:
Joint Public Safety & Youth Services Meeting
Thursday, December 5, 7pm
CB14 District Office, 810 E 16th Street
Cops from the 70th Precinct will present a report on youth crime, as well as a presentation on the NYPD Explorers Program. There will also be presentations about youth court and DYCD’s Fatherhood Initiative.
General Meeting
Monday, December 9, 7:30pm
PS 249 (Caton Avenue between Marlborough and Rugby Roads)
This meeting will include presentations from topical committees, recommendations for special permits on Church Avenue as well as E 22nd Street, and a public session.
70th Precinct Community Council Meeting & Holiday Party
Wednesday, December 18, 7:30pm
175 Lawrence Avenue between Ocean Parkway and Seton Place
Come meet officers from the 70th, find out how they’re keeping Ditmas Park safe, and voice questions or concerns. Then stick around for a party, and make sure to bring a toy to brighten up a local child’s holiday.
