Commissioner Kitty Found at Parade Ground, Needs Home

We noticed these signs for a found cat around the Parade Ground this morning, and this afternoon we hear that he was actually taken in by Parks staff! From the Prospect Park Facebook page:

Park Fans, our staff found this very sweet cat hanging out in the construction site at the Parade Grounds earlier in the week. He is friendly, looks healthy and seems fairly young. Do you know anyone looking to adopt a cat? We are calling him Commissioner Kitty Montgomery and have temporary housing for him but the nearby shelters (no-kill) are full and we will not take him to a kill shelter. Thank you!
